Members of Yarra Yarra compete in Melbourne, rural Victoria, Australia and in International countries, they have great success in competitions all around the world. As well as there competitive program they also offer a 'Learn to Row Program'. Their 'Learn to Row Program' allows people of all ages to start rowing and hopefully progress to a competitive level.

Hawthorn Rowing Club- Melbourne, Australia

Hawthorn Rowing club is a Melbourne rowing club hidden away in the bends of the Yarra River. Their location is away from the main rowing drag so they have the windy river to themselves. Hawthorn offers rowing programs for people of all ages, they have beginner, junior and masters programs that are offered at a reasonable price.

Hawthorn is well known for their masters program (people over the age of 27). Hawthorn has a large number of masters who compete in masters regattas all over the world. Hawthorn is building up their junior program so they have members of all ages. They are starting to encourage lots of children to come and join their newly evolving junior program.

Hawthorn Rowing club hosts one of Melbourne's biggest rowing regattas, The Head of the Yarra. Hawthorn has hosted this event for many years and are still doing a great job at running it.
Overall Hawthorn Rowing Club is a strong club with an ideal location that offers programs for people of all ages and abilities. A lot is expected from this strong spirited club in years to come.

Below are some of the recent achievements of Australian rowers. Australia crowned Junior World Champions in the Men’s Double Scull Kennedy-Leverett and Fergus Hamilton won gold in Lithunia. The Junior Men's Double Scull was crowned World Rowing Junior Champions after a convincing win. This duo is expected to take out more gold in upcoming events. U23 Men's Four crowned World Champions in Bulgaria In Plovdiv, Bulgaria, the Australian U23 Men's Four won gold. Narrowly beating England, the men were extremely proud of there accomplishment.
