Australian Rowers Around the World Australia is a very competitive force on the world rowing stage. Australians both young and old travel around the world to row for Australia. Below are some of the recent achievements of Australian rowers. Australia crowned Junior World Champions in the Men’s Double Scull Kennedy-Leverett and Fergus Hamilton won gold in Lithunia. The Junior Men's Double Scull was crowned World Rowing Junior Champions after a convincing win. This duo is expected to take out more gold in upcoming events. U23 Men's Four crowned World Champions in Bulgaria In Plovdiv, Bulgaria, the Australian U23 Men's Four won gold. Narrowly beating England, the men were extremely proud of there accomplishment.
